GOD WILL HELP US

“God will help us!”

“God will help us!”

Has God not helped us already?

What do you want Him to do again?

Build bridges for us? Vote the right people into power? Instill instant knowledge into our heads?

Study the evolution of countries for us?

What in God’s name do you want God to do for us again?

What has He not done already?

He has given us everything we need to change this country.

He has given us crude oil, in fact more than other countries.

He has given us intelligent brains.

He has given us talented children.

He has given us 24 hours in each day just like every other nation.

He has given the right to choose our leaders

And He has given us the right to be the best.

However, we have chosen the worse. We are now calling Him to help us.

If I were God, I would close my ears to Nigerian citizens’ prayer.

This country has everything any nation can need……

And best of all, we have God himself…..

I don’t know which God we are calling on again….

Abeg sef, which God are calling to help us again? Maybe I am misunderstanding the God you are calling on.

If it is the God, I know (The God of the Bible or the God of the Quran) He has done what every God should do in order to help His people.

Any more help from God over this nation is a bias act, an unjust act against other countries He has helped in the past.

God has helped us enough already, it is time we start helping ourselves. He has fulfilled His part of the job, it is now our job to implement the status and dictates that make nations great.

Except you are waiting for Angel Gabriel to come and build boreholes in your town, and Angel Michael to go and fight Boko Haram or Angel Plato to come and vote against these politicians that have crippled this nations, then Get up from your knees and be like Elijah who took the challenge to the mountain, and from the mountain to anointing Kings and Regulating the Kingdom.

Or maybe you are waiting for God to come and contest for President with Jesus Christ as Senate President and Holy Spirit as Speaker. 

God has immensely helped this country. There is nothing that we need that He has not offered already. We are only looking for men like Daniel, men who will serve God and rule politically. Men like Nehemiah, men who will build the wall. Men like Solomon, men who will build the city and make 1 Dollar=1 Naira. Men like Joseph, men who will interpret the economy and save for market crash. Women like Esther, women who will advocate for the peace of the land. Women like Deborah, women who will purge the enemies and the looters out of the system.

From now henceforth, please carry your “God will help us!” wahala and migrate out of Nigeria if you are not willing to do anything with the help He has given us. Niger is close-by, you can use “legedies benz” (trekking) and you will reach there in a few months. Or you can try using boat around the Atlantic, it will be difficult but you may succeed, Nigerians can do impossible things. Or maybe you will enter the tire pack of a plane, I pray the plane does not crash around Sambisa Forest. For those who will choose America, be careful of Trump, you may come back sooner than you left.  

Toh, whichever way, I do not like hearing such comments while we return back to our comfort zones and continue waiting for a Messiah to change Nigeria.

You are Nigeria’s Messiah. Stand up and Save us.
