I respect you only as far as your integrity can go. There is no reason to desire a person if he has shown that he does not deserve it. They, APC told us in 2015 that PMB had INTEGRITY. We believed them, that was because he has not done anything since he left office in 1975.

However, we forgot to mention that he did something really wrong in 2015, he mingled with those who had no integrity. What’s the result when a person of integrity become partner with a person that has no integrity? APC.

Check through the books well, you will discover that indeed since Buhari was toppled in 1975, he has done nothing incredible apart from contesting for President 3 times. That’s the man we thought would solve all of Nigeria’s problem. And we voted Buhari, no APC.

It was not our fault. It is Buhari’s fault. He promised. He, together with his band of unrepentant criminals promised to RESTRUCTURE the Nigeria they destroyed. Rotimi Amaechi suddenly found a perfect place to spend his looted funds. Atiku Abubakar suddenly became an Airline with his private Jets. They advised us to not vote based on religion, we agreed. They said Boko Haram will end in 100 days. And by the December, 2015 ALL the Chibok girls be spending Christmas in Chibok in their peaceful and respective home.

The grandest of it all was that they will fight corruption. Three years down the line, nobody has been jailed for corruption in a corrupt country like Nigeria. APC finally convinced us and not confused us that they were really just passionate about getting the PDP out, they were not passionate about us as Nigeria. I am not accusing the APC of doing nothing, I am simply accusing it of doing the same thing that has been done before and this is exactly what we voted against.

What we are saying, most of those against PMB and APC, is that this performance is for the poorest minded mediocre. The potential of Nigeria has not been utilized in the smallest bit. What we are saying is that, Buhari and APC is not the best that Nigeria can produce. The giants of Africa can produce another Zik or another Sardauna, visionary men who did great things in their own way. We are simply saying that another J.D Gomwalk must be produced. We refuse to settle for this lowest level of performance for this is not what we deserve.

Most of us are not duping the APC for PDP, they are the sons of the same tree-The Old Testament and New Testament of failed leaders. Compiled together, they form the Encyclopedia of corruption, backwardness, mediocrity and failure.

What people like me are simply advocating for is that someone else can write this story in a new book, and Nigerians are ready for this new book. We have endured enough, we can endure another period of labour if there is vision attached to it.

Until we find that man who format this system, be willing to start a new one, march toes, build people’s mindset, create opportunities, foster justice, invest in education, build giant structures, and put Nigeria at par with America, Britain, Germany, India and Germany, where we really belong, we will NEVER settle for anything less.

For the love of Nigeria is the beginning of our struggle! For us, we love Nigeria more than PDP, APC, Buhari, Obasanjo or Jonathan.

If Buhari, APC had not promised, they might still have been in the radar of our hope.
