SLAY MAMAS IN JESUS DAY

Recently, I was listening to a radio program that focused on rape. The host, whose name I have now forgotten was discussing the causes of rape. Most of the men who called in preferred that rape is caused by an indecent dressing. I listened to all the false claims laid by those men who were using the carelessness of these daughters of Eve. While listening, I was reminded again that these are the sons of Adam, the father who pushed the fault to Mother Eve after he had willingly eaten the fruit in the Garden. There are many of these kinds of men today, some of them are going to read this. I mean these kinds of men that bear the “apple” in their throat, unable to swallow it and agree that it’s their fault. 

 Is it really true that rape is caused by indecent dressing? I don’t totally subscribe to that. Indecent dressing cannot carry the cross for this barbaric act. I’ve heard of women raping men, that I cannot say anything about for I cannot understand how a single part of their psychology. How does a woman rape a man? Why should a woman rape a man when there is West of Mines where prostitutes are paid? Maybe it is not unconnected with what I am about to say.

These breed of men lack control.

These breed of men are sexually uncontrollable, they cannot control the sex appeal. They read sex, they watch sex, they talk sex, shouldn’t they want sex? They’ve dis-valued the words. We can write it without being ashamed and we can say it without being apologetic.

In Jesus days, there were slay Mamas.

Mary Magdalene was a professional sex worker, she had done her business so well. 7 demons had found comfort in her body. She was popular, everyone knew that with a little change, he could have his way with her. It is surprising that none of the disciples even got distracted by Mary, even after pouring a perfume worth 12 months wages on Jesus, He wasn’t attracted. Not even Judas gave a second thought. How about today, just pass a picture with a side of the stomach showing, it becomes the most liked picture. Comments throw in as though you are a god. The most celebrated picture of Beyonce is the one showing her, her daughter and her mother, the two former wearing pants, and bra. Our favorite movies are the ones with the longest sex scenes. Our rewind button is always with us so we can watch that part again and again. Porn sites are making millions. And these are the mates of Joseph, who had the freest, safest and most appealing sex proposal in human history. I doubt if Zeus would have resisted that appeal, the Greek mythological gods wouldn’t pass that by. His boss wife loved him, in a culture that was not against such, she proposed on so many occasions, she displayed her Karashika skills, she slew to the best of those times, in fact, she has become the first sugar Mummy in history. Joseph could have given her a “one-night stand” and nobody would know. Oh boy, that scene is legendary. 

He clasped his belt, she removed it, she dragged with him, he ran away. But he controlled himself.

There are many people bearing Joseph today, flying on social media telling half naked girls “you look sexy”. There are many Joseph’s in life whose eyes cannot see the books in her hands except her curves, and of course, there may be a rapist whose name is Joseph.

Nude pictures and sex appeals have been here for as far back as Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve hid because they were naked. Let nobody come here to tell us that it is part of the “New Age”. 

Rape is prevalent because men have chosen to become dogs. A 57-year-old raping a 4-year-old cannot be justified even by the Devil. Fathers have just refused to stick to their wives, young men have refused to “go to sleep” and boys have decided to be real mentees of the media. 

If men can control their eyes, their senses and their below the belt faculties, I assure you that rape would become as forgotten as Nigerian roads, West of Mines joint will shut down and all the chaos of unwanted pregnancy, abortion, and overpopulation would be buried right in our eyes.

Joseph was not a god and the disciples of Jesus were not Angels, we can choose to pitch our camp with them or become like Shechem, Jacob, Amnon or David. 

I choose the Joseph clan. 

I belong there. 

Where do you belong? 

If Slay Mama’s are your problem, then be ready to die satisfying them. Don’t forget that “the beautiful ones are not yet born”. God is always updating His database of people, there can never be a better past in God’s calendar. You’ll fall and fall and fall chasing the beautiful ones, and soon you may never stand again. 

Abraham could have zipped his trouser and let Hagar go; Jacob could have buttoned his trousers and let Leah go; Amnon could have overlooked Tamar; David could have ignored Bathsheba, and Shechem could have tucked in his shirt to his trousers….. 

Don’t let history write your case with “could have…..”

Do not blame any lady, blame yourself for not making a “covenant with your eyes not to look at any woman lustfully”. 

Job faced what we are facing, there were slay mamas in his time, but that son of God made a covenant with his eyes. Samson did not make such a covenant, look where it took him. David did not make such a covenant, see how it shattered his family. Reuben did not make such a covenant, see how it stole his birthright.
