In his office in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, Warren Buffett displays only one certificate of completion from Dale Carnegie Course he took in 1952.

The certificate he proudly displays in his office reads: "Warren E. Buffett has successful completed the Dale Carnegie Course in effective speaking, leadership training, and the art of winning friends and influencing people. January 13, 1952."

According to Warren, it is the most important course in his life.

God save me if I ever become so humble, the only certificate I will have is this one by KECTIL. One of the constant trouble I had in 2018 was completing the Kectil Fellowship. It was grilling and challenging, it's sad I missed the Lagos Conference but anyway, I'm better. I have not only learned, but I have also grown.

Perhaps the most important lessons I learned was entering into another world experience through the diverse international friendships and meeting deadlines. Kectil asks tough questions, so its usually impossible to have all the answers at once. They are always tumbling in my head and its hard to organize them in writing and then sending forth, sometimes I'm really without data to use that email app. All this I have to do with a deadline on my neck. To every leader out there, learn how to work with deadlines. And don't forget as Sheryl Knowles (Founder KECTIL), "Leaders meet deadlines".

Ah, I just started the African Liberty Writers Fellowship. Received the " Congratulations email few days ago" and went through some basics today, its already fun. I'm biased, I prefer Fellowships to school.
